  • Financial Aid Information
Students planning to attend college in the 2017-2018 academic year can start working on their FAFSA beginning on October 1. This new earlier date will give students and their families a better idea of the financial costs associated with the schools they are considering, and hopefully help them make a more informed decision earlier than previous years. Because no tax information is available yet for 2016, this year's FAFSA will have to be completed using 2015 tax information.

The Michigan deadline for submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is March 1st for the upcoming financial aid year.

Contact the Financial Aid Office at the college you are planning to attend if you have questions or need assistance in completing the FAFSA. You may also contact Mr. Sutherland at the High School.

  • Useful Apps

My Study Life
It's time to say goodbye to your paper planner. My Study Life is everything your paper planner is and more. Rotation schedules, assignments, revision, exams? My Study Life has it covered on all of your devices. Oh, and did we mention it's free?

EasyBib
This app helps you format your list of references in more than 7,000 citation styles (who even knew 7,000 styles existed?), including the most common APA and MLA formats. Just type in the name of the book and EasyBib gives you several options to choose from and then makes a citation for you. EasyBib has a website that does the job just as well, but with the app you can take a picture of a book's bar code and generate a citation for it.

MicrosoftOffice Mobile
This app is a no-brainer. Microsoft Office Mobile lets you access, edit and share all of your Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents on your Android and iOS devices. If you want to start your homework and don't have a laptop handy, you can create new Word and Excel documents straight from your phone.

  • NCAA Eligibility Center
Student-Athletes who are interested in playing a sport at the Division I or Division II level in college will need to register with the NCAA. The Eligibility Center verifies for colleges that prospective student-athletes meet a minimum academic standard with regard to the courses they have taken and their standardized test scores. Visit the Eligibility Center for more information, and to create an account.
