In the May 6, 2008 Regular School Election, voters of the Lake Linden-Hubbell School District approved a $3.5 million bond proposal. The bond money is being used to fund a number of upgrades and improvements to District facilities. Construction began in the Spring of 2009 and is expected to be complete by early Fall of 2009.
The following projects are included in the renovation project:
Remodel High School Auditorium
Remodel High School Gymnasium
Track and Field Improvements
Replace High School Interior Doors
Replace High School Exterior Windows
Replace High School Roof
Replace High School Student Lockers
Upgrade Heating System
Replace Carpeting in Elementary School
Installation of new Telephone System
Improvements to Parking Lots and Bus Rerouting
Retaining Walls and Landscaping
Moyle Construction of Houghton was awarded
Contract 2-A, 2-B and Contract 3.
Up and Running of Houghton was awarded
Contract 1 for the replacement of the telephone system.
